Chat Room Activities

The staff of the ARDS Support Center does not encourage or participate in Chat Room Activities having to do with medical matters. The ASC website facilities can not be used to promote or encourage Chat Room activities. It is the position of the ARDS Support Center that qualified physicians or other medical personnel monitor and supervise any Chat Room discussions that concern medical matters.

Note: It has come to our attention that facilities of the ARDS Support Center have been used by persons not associated with the ASC to encourage individuals to participate in Chat Room activity involving medical matters. The ARDS Support Center website Mission statement clearly prohibits this practice and those persons have been asked to discontinue the unauthorized use of ASC facilities for this purpose.
